Waypoint is the rebranded version of XboxReplay (xboxreplay.net). The underlying service and infrastructure remain the same — your existing account and data are unchanged. By continuing to use the service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you wish to have your data removed, see Your Choices below.

1. Cookies

Waypoint uses cookies to identify visitors and remember preferences across visits.

Cookie Types:

Session Cookies: Expire after logout or a set timeframe.
Persistent Cookies: Remain on your device for a longer period.

Cookie Categories:

Strictly Necessary: Required to provide core functionality such as authentication and navigation. These cannot be disabled.
Analytics / Performance: Used to understand how visitors interact with the site in order to improve the experience. Some analytics cookies expire at the end of your browser session, while others may persist for up to two years. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser extension.

2. Third-Party Services

Google Analytics: Collects anonymized data such as IP addresses, browser information, and pages visited for statistical analysis and service improvement.
Google Ads: May display advertisements and track interactions such as views and clicks to measure campaign performance.
Stripe: Processes subscription payments securely. Stripe may collect billing information such as your name, email address, and payment card details. Waypoint does not have access to your full card number. Stripe's handling of your data is subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.

3. Age Requirement

Waypoint is not intended for users under the age of 13. If you are under 16 in the European Economic Area, you may only use the service with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that data has been collected from a child without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete it.

4. Information Collected

When you sign in with your Microsoft account, Waypoint generates access tokens to interact with third-party APIs on your behalf. The following information may be collected and displayed:

Profile information (gamertag, profile picture, gamerscore)
Game library and recently played titles
Media captures (screenshots and video clips)
Club memberships and social connections
Online presence and preferences

Waypoint does not store your Microsoft account credentials.

5. How Information Is Used

Service delivery: Displaying your profile, game library, captures, and social data within the platform.
Personalization: Tailoring the experience based on your preferences and activity.
Improvement: Analyzing aggregated usage patterns to enhance features and performance.

6. Information Sharing

Waypoint does not sell your personal data to third parties. Your data may be shared in the following circumstances:

With Microsoft services as necessary to retrieve your gaming profile, game library, captures, and social data on your behalf.
When required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Waypoint and its users.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention

Your data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the service. Cached data is periodically refreshed and older entries are automatically discarded.

9. Your Choices

You may at any time:

Revoke access: Disconnect Waypoint from your Microsoft account via your Microsoft account privacy settings.
Delete your account: You can delete your account via your account settings. Deleting your account removes your session data and sets your profile to private on Waypoint. However, publicly available data provided by Xbox services (such as your gamertag and gamerpic) may still appear in search results or be accessible via direct URL, as this data is sourced from Microsoft and is outside our control. To remove this data entirely, please manage your privacy settings directly through your Microsoft account.
