The activity feed is closed on Fridays but open the rest of the days to give announcments to the community, give updates and news to you, and show featured partys to join, etc. without it being buried in other posts. To be entered in the featured Fortnite partys to join, in the feed tell me your favorite place to land and you can be picked to have your party featured to allow up to 3 people to join. In looking for group, you have to be in club to join them.
